The studio and the people behind it

Denver Pilates Movement is a woman-owned, locally owned boutique Pilates studio. Owner Dana Shriberg discovered Pilates in 2000, completed her Teacher Training at The Pilates Center in Boulder, and taught for six years alongside Cara Reeser before founding the studio in downtown Denver in 2007; since 2019 it has been at home on Navajo St in LoHi / Highlands. That Boulder lineage, deepened through continuing education with Kathleen Stanford Grant and Rael Isacowitz, still shapes how we teach today.

Over the years the studio has trained professional athletes, Broadway actors, Cirque du Soleil performers, triathletes, and clients recovering from injury. That range reflects our philosophy: Pilates is for every body and every ability, whether you're rebuilding after an injury or training for your next race.

Every instructor here is comprehensively certified with a focus on classical instruction, trained on the full apparatus rather than just mat work, and the team brings more than 70 combined years of Pilates experience. Classes stay small, capped at 5 people, so whichever instructor you book with, you get hands-on, expert attention.
