How much do Pilates classes cost at Denver Pilates Movement?
Group apparatus classes are $35 per class, and 5- and 10-class packs bring the per-class rate down ($150 and $275). Private lessons start at $90 per session, and new-client intro packages start at $210 for 3 private lessons.
If you come regularly, monthly memberships range from $199/mo (8 classes / month) to $310/mo (unlimited classes). See the pricing page for the full table.
Do I need experience before my first reformer or apparatus class?
Not at all. All ages and abilities are welcome, and no experience is required. We recommend starting with five private lessons so you learn the apparatus with one-on-one attention, but they are a recommendation, not a requirement.
The Live Better intro package (5 private lessons + 5 group classes, $425) covers that full onboarding path in one purchase.
What should I wear to a Pilates class?
Comfortable, form-fitting activewear that lets you move freely and lets your instructor see your alignment. Grip socks are recommended, and no shoes are worn on the apparatus.
How often should I do Pilates?
Most of our clients see real results practicing twice a week. Consistency matters more than volume: two focused sessions a week build strength, flexibility, and body awareness that carry into everything else you do.
How big are group classes?
Group classes are capped at 5 people. That small cap means every client gets individual attention and hands-on cueing, even in a group setting.
Which instructor should I book with?
Any of them. Every instructor at the studio is comprehensively certified with a focus on classical instruction, trained on the full apparatus rather than just mat work, and has years of teaching experience. Book the time that fits your schedule and you’ll be in expert hands.
Instructors share the same classical foundation and teach with the same client-centered approach, so your practice stays consistent across the whole team.
Can Pilates help with back pain or injury recovery?
Yes. Injury recovery is one of our specialties. Our instructors tailor every session to your body and have deep experience with back pain, post-rehab clients, and chronic conditions. Pilates complements medical care and physical therapy; it doesn't replace them.
Mention any injuries, surgeries, or diagnoses when you book so we can pair you with the right instructor and adapt the work from day one.
How do I book a class?
Group classes are booked online through our schedule page. For private lessons and duets, email dana@denverpilatesmovement.com (we're often in session, so email is fastest) or call (303) 297-3040 and leave a message if we don't pick up. Either way, we'll get back to you to find a time that fits.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule; late cancellations are charged in full.
With classes this small, a late cancellation usually means an empty spot another client would have taken.
Where is the studio located?
The studio is on Navajo Street in Denver's LoHi / Highlands neighborhood, just northwest of downtown. The full address, hours, and a map link are in the footer of every page.
Do you offer private group sessions for friends?
Yes: groups of 3 to 5 friends can book a private group session together. Contact the studio at dana@denverpilatesmovement.com or (303) 297-3040 to set one up.
What's the difference between private lessons, duets, and group classes?
Private lessons (from $90) are one-on-one sessions built entirely around your body and goals. Duets (from $55 per person) pair you with a partner for a semi-private session. Group classes ($35) are small apparatus classes capped at 5 people.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards from $20 to $1,000 can be purchased online through our booking system and delivered by email. They work toward any private lesson, duet, group class, or package.
Find the gift card link on our pricing page.
Do you work with athletes?
Yes. Professional athletes, triathletes, and dancers have all trained at the studio. We use Pilates as sport-specific cross-training: building core strength, balancing overworked muscle groups, and improving mobility for your sport.
